I’m not sure about this one. I feel like I missed the plot and landed somewhere I am unsure of. I learn about where it is happening, but the hook isn’t there for me. A YA book trailer needs to tell me what is going to happen and I am lost. The cinematics are fine, but it needs more writing to tell me where it is planning on going. Honestly, I don’t think there is enough here to make me want to read the synopsis.
A YA book trailer needs to have a hook something to make me want to read more. This is a YA Fantasy which doesn’t need a big hook especially since it is targeting children and Young Adults (YA). It just needs to look really good.
